Girideepam Business School celebrated the spirit and cultural richness of Onam with great enthusiasm on 21 August 2026. The celebrations brought together the MBA students and faculty members in a vibrant atmosphere filled with tradition, creativity, teamwork and festive joy.

As part of the celebration, the MBA students of Batch 2026 actively participated in various traditional Onam activities. The students prepared a beautiful Athapookalam, presented an Onam song, and performed a colourful Onam dance, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.

The MBA Department also joined hands with the other departments of Girideepam Institute of Advanced Learning for a common Onam Celebration Programme held on the same day as the Girideepam College Onam celebrations. The programme was inaugurated by Adv. Chandy Oommen, MLA, Puthuppally.

The common celebration featured a variety of cultural and traditional programmes, including Onam Song, Athapookalam, Onam Theme Show, Department-wise Theme Show, Thiruvathirakali, and Vadam Vali (Tug of War). The department-wise performances provided an opportunity for students to showcase their talents, while the Tug of War added excitement and competitive spirit to the celebrations.

The Onam celebrations at Girideepam Business School reflected the true spirit of the festival—unity, togetherness, cultural heritage, and collective celebration. The active participation of the MBA students and the collaborative efforts of the departments made the occasion a memorable and joyful celebration for the Girideepam community.
