GBS has a vibrant and dynamic Management Association ‘Giritarang’. The office bearers of Giritarang is appointed every year to carry out various curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
Clubs
GBS organizes various club activities to leverage the knowledge, skills and competencies of students in the field of Management. These clubs include Entrepreneurship Development Club, Finance Club, HR Club, Marketing Club, Operations and Nature Club. These clubs encourage students to interact with management professionals. The club activities are designed to promote team spirit, interpersonal skills and to implement theoretical concepts into practical learning experiences. The students take the initiative in arranging the events under the guidance of Faculty facilitator/Mentor. This helps the students to develop their managerial and decision making skills.
Student-centered Activities
GBS conducts case study workshops and live projects to improve the analytical and research skills among students. Mock in-house project, problem centered study; expert talks, field study/limited observation study, group discussions and debate are also organized to inculcate managerial skills among the students. GBS conducts Business News Analysis every week to analyze the latest trends and developments in business on the economy.
Management Fest (Emperio)
Emperio is the annual management fest organized by GBS to hone the organizing skills of students. The fest is conceptualized, planned and executed by the students of GBS and is an ideal balance between accountability, competition, celebration and fun. Emperio provides a platform for students from various institutions across the country to showcase their talents and competencies.

Encourage the reading and comprehension of business news. Ensure the active participation of students in Business News Analysis (BNA).
Encourage the students to participate in Association/Club activities, Management fests, MDPs, Seminars, Webinars and other Managerial skill development programs.
Ensure the active participation of the students in the training programs.
Equip the students to conduct industry analysis which shall facilitate the students to take up internships in reputed firms.
Help the students to identify the companies for internships and to ensure the quality of internship.
Second Year
Orienting the students to placements and higher studies.
Equip the students to identify the prosperous career opportunities.
Help the students to identify the suitable companies for project work and to ensure the quality of the project work done.
Ensure measure to enhance the competency of students in aptitude tests, group discussions and interviews.
