The students and faculty of Girideepam Business School (GBS) successfully completed an enriching International Study Tour to Thailand from 08 March to 13 March 2026. The tour was organized with the objective of providing students with global exposure, cultural understanding, and experiential learning beyond the classroom. The journey included visits to several prominent destinations in Pattaya, including Tiger Park Pattaya, where students had the opportunity to observe wildlife closely, and the spectacular Alcazar Cabaret Show, a world-famous cultural performance celebrated for its vibrant costumes and artistic presentation.
A major highlight of the tour was the visit to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, one of Thailand’s most renowned botanical gardens. The GBS team enjoyed the cultural show at Nong Nooch Village, explored the beautifully landscaped botanical gardens, and experienced Thailand’s rich horticultural heritage. The students also visited the famous Pattaya Floating Market, where they explored the traditional floating marketplace and experienced a one-side traditional rowing boat ride, gaining insight into Thailand’s local trade and culture.
As part of the academic component of the tour, the GBS team visited Bangkok University and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok. These institutional visits provided valuable opportunities for interaction with international academic environments, helping students understand global perspectives in higher education, technology, and business studies.
The tour also included a visit to the fun-filled Safari World and Marine Park Bangkok, where students enjoyed various wildlife attractions and entertaining animal shows.
Overall, the International Study Tour provided GBS students with a meaningful blend of academic exposure, cultural exploration, and experiential learning. The experience strengthened global awareness among students and created lasting memories while enhancing their understanding of international culture, education, and tourism.
