Girideepam Business School proudly organized an International Conference on “Reimagining Management for a Tech-Driven Sustainable Future” in online mode on 16 April 2026. The conference was a collaborative initiative of Girideepam Business School, Monti International Institute of Management, and Crest Academy for Innovation & Research, Kottayam, in association with Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from academicians, researchers, and industry experts from across the globe, creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and academic collaboration.
The programme commenced at 9:30 AM with a Welcome Address delivered by Mr. Moncy Kuriakose, Assistant Professor (Senior), Girideepam Business School, who warmly greeted the distinguished speakers and participants and highlighted the significance of reimagining management practices in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Ts. Dr. Joseph Emerson Raja, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, on the topic “The Role of Responsible AI in Reimagining Management for a Tech-Driven Sustainable Future.” The keynote provided deep insights into the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence and its transformative role in shaping sustainable management practices.
This was followed by an engaging Invited Talk by Dr. Phan Thi Hong Xuan, Associate Professor, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University – HCMC, on the topic “Beyond Technology: Culture as Soft Infrastructure for the AI Era.” The session emphasized the importance of cultural intelligence and human-centric approaches in the successful integration of AI within organizations.
The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Robin Ettithadathil OIC, Director of Girideepam Colleges; Rev. Fr. Ajo Antony, Director, Monti International Institute of Management (MIIM); Dr. Subin Thomas, Dean – Academics, Girideepam Business School; and Dr. Dhanya S. Nair, Dean – Student Affairs, Girideepam Business School, whose presence added significance to the occasion.
The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Poornima V, Assistant Professor, Girideepam Business School, who expressed gratitude to all speakers, collaborators, and participants for their valuable contributions.
After a short break, the conference proceeded with paper presentation sessions starting at 10:45 AM, where numerous academicians, research scholars, and students presented their research findings on diverse themes related to technology, sustainability, and management innovation. The sessions facilitated meaningful discussions and exchange of ideas among participants.
The conference was successfully completed with active participation and insightful deliberations, reaffirming Girideepam Business School’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, research collaboration, and thought leadership in emerging areas of management.
