Girideepam Business School in association with Multimedia University, Malaysia organized an International Conference on ‘Fintech Principles for the Digital Age’ on 11 November 2022. The expert session was handled by Prof. Dr. Saravanan Muthaiyah (Full bright Scholar & Fellow, USA, Bachelors in accounting & Finance, M.Sc., IT, Ph.D., Professor digital enterprise Research Institute, Faculty of management, Multimedia University, Malaysia). Prof Muthaiyah detailed about Digital age principles, Fintech Overview, Platforms for Fin tech, Crypto assets, P2P financing and Trust for third party transactions. The interactive session helped the students to explore the applications of Fintech in simplifying the financial transactions and making them more accessible for business and consumers. Students and research scholars from various institutions across the state participated in the program. Prof Muthaiyah released the peer reviewed international annual journal of GBS “Lux Montis” during the program.
