The key value of sustainability is encapsulated in the long term-maintenance of the life quality by safeguarding environmental, economic and social components. As business organizations play a major role in transforming societal and natural resources into various goods and services, they have a considerable responsibility in preserving the quality of life for future generations. In a world characterized by volatility, complexity and ambiguity, sustainability is a prime concern for management research and deliberations. Sustainability has been addressed by many scholars in different contexts including Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Ethics and Social Responsibility. This conference is a platform to disseminate research insights on sustainable entrepreneurial environment and its impact on social, environmental and economical aspects of the nation.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE

• Discuss the creation and exploration of sustainable entrepreneurial opportunities in India.

• Identify the economical, environmental and societal impact of Sustainable Entrepreneurship.

• Provide a platform for the participants to share their experiences and research findings on sustainable business practices.

• Examine the Entrepreneurial opportunities and challenges for India 2.0.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Authors are requested to submit original research papers related to the theme of the conference. 

• Authors are advised to prepare papers in APA Format. The paper should be in Times New Roman font, with 12 font size, and 1.5 line spacing, not exceeding 15 pages in all.

• Abstract not exceeding 250 words must be submitted on or before 12th September, 2022 along with the online registration form (link given below).

• The selected authors are advised to send the full paper in word format on or before 22nd September, 2022 to the email – conference@girideepambschool.edu.in

• The papers satisfying the guidelines and plagiarism norms (less than 15%) will be published in peer reviewed International journal with ISSN number.

A webinar is an event held on the internet which is attended exclusively by an online audience. A webinar is a form of one-to-many communication: a presenter can reach a large and specific group of online viewers from a single location. To enable learning from Home, Girideepam Business School is organizing various Webinar starting from the month of July, 2020 for the enrichment and professional development of students, teachers, teacher educators and researchers.

Girideepam Business School organized an international Webinar on the topic - "Artificial Intelligence & its Applications" by Mr. Rajesh Karthik, Senior Program Manager, Robert Bosch, Singapore on July 27, 2020 Monday 5.00 PM through Google Meet platform. Rev. Fr. Varghese Tharamuttom OIC (Director, Girideepam Institutions), Dr. C Jayachandran (Principal, GBS), Prof. Johny P J (Principal, GIAL), all faculty members of GBS, faculties of GIAL, students of GBS & GIAL, faculties and Students of other colleges participated in the webinar. A special thanks to Mr. Vinayachandran B S who participated in our webinar as a Sign Language Interpreter.

Girideepam Business School organised its second Webinar on the topic - " Out of the Box: How to optimise your personality and develop yourself professionally?" by Dr. Teena Annah Thomas, Principal, BCM College, Kottayam on 1 August 2020 at 10am through Google Meet platform.

Girideepam Business School in association with XIME Kochi organised a Webinar on the topic - " Career management is not a destiny but a journey - how to effectively transform yourself into sucessful management professionals" by Mr. Jackson D'Silva (Assistant Professor,XIME) and Mr. Sony Varghese (Assistant Professor, XIME) on 5 August 2020 at 10.30am through Google Meet platform.

Girideepam Business School in association with IQAC, Girideepam Institute of Advanced Learning organized a Webinar on the topic - " Challenges and Opportunities for Management Graduates in Post Covid Era" by Mr. Geevarghese K Mathews, Professional Trainer (MBA SSB CANADA) on 6 August 2020 at 11.30am through Google Meet platform.

Girideepam Business School in collaboration with IQAC Girideepam Institute of Advanced Learning organized a webinar on the topic - "How to access the Hidden Job Market" by Mr. Sreelesh P S, Data Analytics Professional on 8 August 2020 at 6pm through Google Meet platform.

"Entrepreneurship, the best option for women as they are gifted with multitask ability" - Panel Discussion on Women Entrepreneurship in Kerala - Milestones Ahead " was organised by GBS in association with Ladies Forum of Kerala Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on 7th October 2016. Dr. Sheena Shukkur Pro- Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam inaugurated the panel discussion. Panel members for the discussion were Ms. Lekha Balachandran (Managing Director, ResiTech Electricals), Ms. Mariamma Jose (Managing Director, M/s. Athena Travels India Pvt. Ltd), Ms.Sheeja Jaimon (Managing Director, Sheejas IT Mall), Ms. Sheela Matthai (Proprietor, Graduate Overseas) and Mrs. Marian Paul (Acecorp Legal Consultancy). The moderator of the panel discussion was Ms. Nirmala Lilly (CEO, Infinity Hospitality Service). Faculty members and students of various colleges participated in the panel discussion.

GBS not only focuses on students development but also on faculty development programs. Every year handsome number of faculty development programs are conducted for its faculty members. Recently GBS in association with Rotary club organized a FDP on the topic "Blueprint for success" by Captain Noble A Pereira.
