Girideepam Business School (GBS) successfully organized the *SMARTS Investors Awareness Programme* in association with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and BSE Limited at the GBS Theatre on 5 March 2025. The programme aimed to enhance financial literacy and promote awareness about responsible investing among management students.

The session was led by *Dr. Arun Mathew*, Securities Market Trainer with SEBI, who delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on the fundamentals of smart investing, financial planning, and the functioning of the securities market. He emphasized the importance of informed investment decisions, risk assessment, and long-term financial planning in today’s dynamic financial environment.

The programme provided participants with practical insights into various investment avenues, the role of regulatory bodies, and the need for investor awareness in the evolving financial ecosystem.
